Omha rules apply

-each team must report to arena 30 minutes prior to game time to check in and hand in necessary paperwork. (rosters, travel permits, etc)

-each team must have a certified coach and trainer on the bench

-teams must be ready to play 15 minutes prior to game time

-handshaking takes place prior to the start of the game

-the home team with take the home bench and wear light coloured jersey

-all referee decisions are final. Game suspensions shall be per omha regulations.

 

Game structure per division

3 games round robin, 2 semifinals, 1 final

Round robin

- 3-minute warm up, game time 10-10-10 stop time

-run time comes into effect in the last 5 minutes with 5 goal differential.

Semi finals

- 3-minute warm up, game time 10-10-10 stop time

-run time comes into effect in the last 5 minutes with 5 goal differential

-in event of a tie a 5 min overtime sudden victory, 4 on 4, if still tied a shoot out with 3 different shooters. If still tied sudden victory shoot out where each team will send one different shooter (the first 3 cannot participate until all team members have gone)

Finals

- 3-minute warm up, game time 10-10-15 stop time

-flood between 2nd and 3rd period unless game times are running behind schedule

-run time comes into effect in the last 5 minutes with 5 goal differential

-in event of a tie a 5 min overtime sudden victory, 4 on 4, if still tied a shoot out with 3 different shooters. If still tied sudden victory shoot out where each team will send one different shooter (the first 3 cannot participate until all team members have gone)

- 1 time out allowed per team.

Points system

Round robin 2 point for win, 1 point for tie, 0 points for loss

Standings after round robin first 4 teams with most points will play in semi finals

1st vs 4th and 2nd vs 3rd

- head to head

- goals against

- coin toss
