We’re proud to share that this year’s Kawartha Lakes Hockey Tournament Giveaway Challenge was a huge success — together, teams across Kawartha Lakes collected an incredible
27,952 pounds of food for Kawartha Lakes Food Source!
Thank you to every player, coach, family, and friend who contributed.
Your generosity shows what makes our hockey community so special — when teams come together, we can make a real difference for local families.
A special congratulations to the winning teams from each association, who earned $1,500 toward tournament fees.
Our Mariposa winner is our U11 OMHA - Kevin Walden with 690lbs of food donated!
This challenge has become more than a contest — it’s a reminder that hockey in Kawartha Lakes isn’t just about what happens on the ice.
