An external company will be performing COVID Proof of Vaccination
checks at City of Kawartha Lakes Arenas as of
Monday, November 29th.
The continued provision of City Services while ensuring community safety is paramount, and staff recognize that there are challenges ensuring provincial protocols are being followed. A schedule has been prepared for each arena facility detailing when an external company will complete the Proof of Vaccination process. Beginning the week of November 29th Allstar Security will be present during the hours listed below, at the respective arena. Security staff will be in place at the entrance of the facility and will request, for those entering the facility, proof of vaccination and identification in accordance with municipal and provincial protocols. When security staff are not scheduled, user groups will be responsible for checking proof of vaccination and identification. Screening and contact tracing will continue be completed by the user group’s COVID-19 Representative. Staff will continue to monitor the protocols and processes related to COVID-19 and adjust as necessary.
