This Jamboree recognizes the many years and volunteer hours Bob Walden has dedicated to our organization. Bob began coaching hockey at 18 years old and went on to coach his own son and today is head coach of his grandson’s team along side his son as assistant. 

Bob has had a profound influence on many of the players he coached, many of them now coaching their own kids who are playing in this jamboree. In 2019 Bob was the recipient of the volunteer of the year award from Kawartha Lakes Sports and Recreation Council for his continued commitment to multi generational coaching and development.
